PM Modi inaugurates 16th Combined Commanders' Conference in Kolkata (X)

PM Modi in Kolkata: After his  two-day visit to Assam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Kolkata today. PM Modi inaugurated the 16th Combined Commanders' Conference in Kolkata. PM Modi received warm welcome by Bharatiya Janata Party supporters, who were present there in large numbers. 

Meanwhile, PM Modi is all set to launch development works worth Rs 36,000 crore in Bihar today. After ending his Kolkata visit, the PM is scheduled to launch the National Makhana Board in Bihar today. The National Makhana Board is meant to promote production and value addition benefiting the Makhana farmers of Bihar. 

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's Statement

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh speaking about the incident said that ''It was the first such conference after Operation Sindoor. Among the other prominent personalities present at the occasion were National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh. 

As PM Modi will also be heading to Bihar today, a lot of buzz is going around his visit to Bihar. 

Taking a dig at PM Modi's Purnia visit, Tejashwi Yadav said that before showering slogans in Purnia today, Prime Minister Modi should please listen to the problems of women and youth in dilapidated rural roads, schools without teachers, dilapidated health centers located within a radius of 2-3 kilometers from his meeting place.
